Alenia Pictures presents a film that re-loaded with moral messages. After releasing Denias, Senandung di Atas Awan in 2006, followed by a musical drama titled Liburan Seruu in 2008, and King in the next year, the production house which is fronted by Ari Sihasale and Nia Zulkarnaen, again presenting a new movie titled Tanah Air Beta.

Tanah Air Beta is based on the true story of East Timor, and directed by Ari Sihasale. Takes place in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), this film is very feasible witnessed by Indonesian families in the midst of horror and comedy-themed films.


"We have a commitment to lift all regions, and here the interesting thing is the refugee problem after the referendum, we did not raise political issues, we're more into the theme of family. Whatever it is, the choice may be different, the ideology may be different, but the love of family, nothing is separate. That's what we wanted to convey to the audience, "said Ale at a press conference of the film Tanah Air Beta.


Tanah Air Beta made because awareness of the plight of refugees which is separated from his family after East Timor separated from Indonesia and turned into East Timor. And since three years ago, the idea to make this movie already existed, but only this year come true.

"Actually the idea of this movie since 2007, before the film King. we see on television impressions about the evacuation, that is still a lot of our brothers and sisters whose lives are fragmentary and not worth living. We have not seen some of this theme. We adopted this theme, because they are our brothers too and we should not turn a blind eye to this, "said Nia Zulkarnaen who acted as executive producer.
